TO THE CONGRESS
EAVLD and The State Veterinary Institute in Jihlava are happy to announce the 4th EAVLD Congress on veterinary diagnostics, which will be held from 6 to 9 November 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic. On behalf of the EAVLD Board Members I would like to congratulate and thank our Czech colleagues for agreeing to organise this event, despite such a short term notice.
The EAVLD Congress on veterinary diagnostics takes place every two years. The first congress was held in 2010 in Lelystad, the Netherlands, the second one in 2012 was organised in Kazimierz Dolny, Poland and the most recent one in 2014 was in Pisa, Italy.
All these events, have shown that there is a strong need to exchange views and knowledge in the field of veterinary diagnostics. This trend was confirmed not only by the high number of participants but also by the significant attendance of sponsors, presenting their latest developments in the laboratory diagnostics. This opportunity for diagnosticians and sponsors’ representatives to meet in one place and to discuss the topics of interest makes every EAVLD congress very special and unique. Networking possibilities for all the participants are highly appreciated.
The 4th Congress will be organized by the State Veterinary Institute in Jihlava in collaboration with other Czech partners. It will be held in the Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague, located only 45-60 minutes by public transport from the airport. Prague is a beautiful city, located in the centre of Europe with a tremendous number of breath-taking architectural gems of Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance, and Art Nouveau styles. Must-sees include the famous Charles Bridge over the Vltava River, the splendid Jewish Quarter with its old synagogues, and the historic churches.
Based on the experience from the previous events, we are expecting a significant interest from veterinary diagnosticians from all over the world, with the majority representing European diagnosticians.
We are looking forward to meeting you in Prague! Reserve 6-9 November 2016 in your calendar for this exciting event.
